Xbox Launches Player Voice Feedback Portal, Fans Demand Return of Exclusives

By technobrainzindia May 27, 2026 0 Comments

Microsoft has officially launched the new Xbox Player Voice portal, giving Xbox players a dedicated space to share feedback and vote on community requests.

The new platform works similarly to Reddit, allowing users to upvote suggestions so the most popular feedback appears at the top. And one request is currently dominating the portal: fans want Xbox exclusives back.

Xbox Community Wants Exclusive Games Again

The most upvoted feedback on the platform urges Xbox to stop bringing major first-party titles to rival platforms like Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Nintendo systems.

One user wrote:

“XBOX was built off of great game exclusives… BRING THEM BACK PLEASE.”

Over the last two years, Microsoft has shifted strategy by releasing several formerly exclusive Xbox titles on PlayStation platforms. Major franchises and games such as:

  • Forza Horizon
  • Halo
  • Starfield
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

have either launched or are expected to launch outside the Xbox ecosystem.

Xbox Under New Leadership

Since Asha Sharma took over leadership at Xbox, the company has introduced several changes aimed at reconnecting with players and improving community perception.

Recent moves include:

  • Price reductions for Game Pass
  • Xbox branding changes
  • Retirement of the Xbox Copilot AI assistant
  • Early plans for next-generation Xbox hardware
  • Reevaluating Xbox exclusivity strategy

Other Popular Community Requests

Besides exclusives, other highly upvoted feedback on the Xbox Player Voice portal includes:

  • Better backwards compatibility support
  • Free online multiplayer access
  • Improvements to Xbox achievements
  • A family plan for Game Pass

Microsoft Responds to Community Feedback

In an official statement, Microsoft clarified that not every suggestion will immediately become a feature or policy change. However, the company says the portal is designed to create more transparency between Xbox users and the platform team.

Even though bringing back exclusives is currently the most requested feedback, Microsoft has not confirmed whether it plans to stop releasing Xbox titles on competing platforms like PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
