OnePlus Pad Could Soon Launch Compact OLED Tablet in India
OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus Pad 4 in India as its latest premium tablet offering. Now, new reports suggest that the company may soon introduce another compact tablet in the country featuring an OLED display.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, OnePlus is preparing to launch a new Pad-series tablet in India equipped with a compact OLED screen. Interestingly, the leaked specifications closely resemble the recently introduced Oppo Pad Mini, hinting that the upcoming OnePlus device could potentially be a rebranded version of Oppo’s tablet.
Expected Specifications and Features
The rumoured OnePlus Pad is tipped to feature an 8.8-inch OLED display with support for up to 144Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming, media consumption, and smoother multitasking.
Under the hood, the tablet is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage technology for faster performance and improved efficiency. The device is also said to ship with Android 16 out of the box.
For photography and video calls, the tablet could include a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The upcoming OnePlus Pad model is also expected to house an 8,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging.

Oppo Pad Mini Pricing Reference
To recall, the Oppo Pad Mini debuted in China last month with a starting price of CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 51,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the higher-end 12GB + 512GB model was launched at CNY 4,499 (around Rs. 62,000).
Although OnePlus has not officially confirmed the launch yet, the leaked details suggest that the company may soon bring a compact flagship Android tablet to the Indian market.
